Tony Studied Sport, Health and Exercise at Abertay University where he graduated with a BSc honours degree in 2005. He went on to work for the NHS at Leverndale Hospital for eight years and was involved with many; health promotion, coaching and leadership roles. Tony then moved to London where he qualified as a Clinical Sports Massage Therapist from the prestigious London School of Sports Massage whilst also working within occupational therapy in acute hospital settings.
In addition to treating elite athletes Tony is a registered personal trainer who has played semi-professional football for ten years. He has also completed several; marathons, half marathons and ultra-endurance cycles.
Tony is a member of: The Institute of Sport & Remedial Massage, the Complimentary & Natural Healthcare Council and the Register of Exercise professionals.
Having been born into a sporting family Andy quickly showed a passion for sport in particular football where he played for several Scottish League clubs and at Youth International level for the Republic of Ireland. He then went onto study Sport Science at The University of Glasgow and gradated with a BSc degree in 2007.
A registered gym instructor and personal trainer Andy then went onto work as a Sport Scientist & Fitness Coach at Celtic Football Club before moving onto Clyde FC. Andy has also studied under the British Association for Cardiovascular Prevention & Rehabilitation and is a fully qualified Phase IV Cardiac Rehab Specialist having worked closely with the physiotherapists at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.
In additional to this Andy has completed Ironman as well as various marathons, ultra-marathons, ultra-endurance cycles, middle distance triathlons. Andy is a member of the British Association for Cardiovascular Prevention & Rehabilitation and the Register of Exercise professionals.
